DVR.ovh has been setup as a DDNS (dynamic domain name service) for network enabled digital video recorders (NDVR). We offer a Dynamic DNS Hostname to those who don't have a static IP address for their DVR. You get a hostname like :mydvr.dvr.ovh.This will allow you to use your DVR under a dynamic IP connection, even if your IP changes, your DVR will always be reachable through your static hostname (your IP is kept up to date via our windows client or using our web interface).
Setup by RHITCS this service is free to use in the hope it is usefull. RHITCS provides a consultancy service covering all I.T areas; network security/setup, web design, custom web applications, programming in most languages either for server side applications and offline applications, web hosting and content management systems (CMS), SSL certificates and domain names.
